Barbeque Steak
Ingredients
New York Strip Steak (This is the cut that was made for barbeque - make sure it's thick)
Garlic
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Worcestershire Sauce
Soya Sauce
Cut up garlic cloves into slivers that are about 1/16in (2mm) thick. Use the point of a knife to poke a hole in the steak and place a sliver into the hole. Repeat this every 1in (2.5cm). Place the steak in a bowl and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce and about twice as much Soya sauce. If you are going to marinade over night add enough water to cover the steak. Otherwise poke the steak with a fork randomly. Marinade for 15minutes on each size.
Remove the steak from the marinade and coat the steak with olive oil and then sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides so that the steak is well coated.
Barbeque as normal.
